After searching more info about Australia we became attracted to the career opportunities, quality of life as well as the education.
Few months before we got married, we have made up our mind that we wanted to start our new family in Australia.
We went online, in search of agency that could help us with our big plan.
We send out emails & made telephone calls to several agencies some responded late while others just did not give a good vibe.
However, only one agency that stood out from the rest, which is AIMS.
We remember clearly, after filling out the online form, a day later we got a telephone call from DAVID from AIMS.
We immediately book our 1st meet up session. It was a free consultation.
On the appointment day, ELSIE greeted us, she helped to explain the process of the application.
She also suggested to us many important things for a successful application.
Help us to do a thorough assessment of our personal profile and explain to us on our visa options based on our eligibility requirements
Without her help this could take months for us to do on our own.
We were impressed on the professionalism & the transparency that AIMS has shown.
After the free consultation, we decided to engage AIMS services for our big plan.
Throughout the application process, we are always kept in the loop & updated of all the steps that needed to be done.
Being a busy couple we are so glad that AIMS took the initiative to update us through emails, telephone calls and also helped us to collect our Police Check Result. We really appreciate that extra service that AIMS has provided.
Now that we have been accepted as Australian PR, it feels that the waiting is all worthwhile
Our next plan would be moving to Adelaide to start our family there.
And we couldn’t say anything more but THANK YOU AIMS!
Since then, I had been in contact with several members of the migration specialist team; most notable of them are Gordon, Girlie, Felicia and Brandon. All of whom handled each and every specific stage of the scales of my migration application very efficiently. I would dare vouch that I would not be able to get through the process without their help and specialist knowledge in this area of the Australian migration. They had in fact, condensed all of the requirements found on /immi.gov.au/ which was so complicated and difficult, into something which is so defined and easy to understand.
My wife, J and I are excited about spending our very first Christmas in Australia after when we were granted our visas in September 2013. We would not have been able to do so without the fine efforts of the team at AIMS working at great lengths to ensure every stumbling block (no matter how small they were) to our visa applications are being looked into and taken care of during the course of our application approvals. We were given guidelines, checklists and prompt feedbacks via emails throughout the whole process, nothing faltered within their highly disciplined vigil. All of their staff members were also very honest and realistic with our skills and assessments and of the options made available to us.
With the dawn of the Abbott government, and the arising of the Labor movement, both J and myself are glad that we made it in time for the 2013 visa approval cut-off deadlines. In the course of our application, we saw 2 application fee revision hikes and a major change to the SQL list which now also precludes more stringent IELTS band scores. (e.g. applicants wishing to apply for visa 189 under a teaching skilled occupations list will have to score a median of 8 in each band/s of the IELTS assessment). We are thankful that AIMS, through excellent staff and professional management, ensured that our application process was locked in since day one of our deposit and that it ran smoothly throughout the way till the very end. Such first class service is necessary for future applicants hoping to acquire an Australian visa under the fast stifling migration laws. Had we not succeeded in our application, we would still have walked away with better knowledge and understanding of the Australian Visa Policy and the other options which they offer. This, will definitely be an advantage should we want to lodge in another application at a later date.
My wife and I have chosen Australia for her bountiful natural beauties which, till to this date remains unmatched anywhere else in the world. She also contains one of the world’s most livable cities down south. As the labor government takes to power, we see a definite market for Australians and Australian PR5 opening up and stabilizing. Australia most definitely has a much better work life quality. It also boasts of one of the best education systems in the world. We chose Australia because we plan to have children of our own and would like them to grow up in a conducive environment that nurtures every aspect of their mental and physical being.
Any part of Australia sounds good to us at the moment; as long as it keeps boogans and hoons locked up and neatly tucked away in a mini Alcatraz (every state should have at least one of these brick shithouses serving criminalization to racists and xenophobes, imho). However, since we would be having kids soon, we have a strong Melbourne bias. The lifestyle in Australia and Singapore will be very different. Even though I graduated with a masters from UNSW, I am still as experienced in the Australian culture and lifestyle in as much as the 2 years of the time which I have spent there; not very. So we will be preparing ourselves for another awfully familiar culture shock again this season. They say in Singapore, you are married even before you met your would be wife. You would therefore, by the time you have kids, be committed to 2 mistresses; one, whom you have sworn a written, verbal, witnessed solemn oath till death to part and another to whom you have sworn an unwritten, unspoken, unknown solemn oath till death to part. However, in Australia, you would only swear oaths to whomever you wished and none for whom you did not. I speak the truth and I kid you not. In Singapore, a job is your life; pampered and all round, but in Australia, a job is just a job; fair and square. Nuff’ said. My intended occupation in Australia is to be a self made millionaire managing my own company and producing my own products and services, contributing to the Australian economy; the place where we will soon call home. That; in my fair view, is the best job anyone could ever ask for. Although we are determined to fit into the Australian Culture in every aspect of our lives, we do not expect anyone, ourselves included, to fit into any one of the neatly tucked away “pigeon holes” that Australians oftentimes find comfort zones with when interacting to a stranger. This is simply because humans were never meant to be so one dimensional in nature or form; physical, mental or otherwise. To box oneself up into a pigeon hole would be a wrongful act of self imprisonment.
In summary, I will not hesitate to put forth my best recommendation/s of using AIMS as an agent for anyone wishing to take the first step towards the plunge into a rich and fulfilling life to the land down under. It is our sincere wish that our testimony serve as a guiding light to the hundreds of thousands who are lost within the maze of migration; and especially to Australia. We are glad that with the help of AIMS immigration specialist, we have started migration to Australia on the right footing and we do consider our resources; monetary and all otherwise, well spent at this stage of the preparations for our leap to the dive down under.
I started my application when the Skill Select was firstly implemented. AIMS had no problem with the new policies as if they were doing it for years. They were proactively helping me planning well ahead of time. My application was immediately started after I signed up with AIMS. However my first state sponsorship was not successful, so we immediately turned to another state. This time it was approved and I received the invitation to apply for PR.
All seemed well at this point of time but my life took a sharp turn as I went into a divorce. I have to withdraw my ex-wife from the application. In order to convince the officer that the withdrawal was real and reasonable, we have produced many documents to justify the situation. Although this was a rare case, my agent was closely following up with the situation and always be able to advise me on the best move.
In the end I’m glad that I have chosen AIMS. They have impressed me with their fast turnaround, proactive attitude and the ability to customize their service to every case.
A big thank you to AIMS from Wee Tuck and Jo! My husband and I have been toying with the idea of migrating to Australia since 2011. When I got my in-principle approval from APHRA (I’m a nurse), we were extremely confused with the complexities of the visa application. We engaged AIMS’s services in late March 2013 upon a friend’s recommendation.
Our first meeting was with Gordon who took us through the requirements for PR application which entails getting a band 7 in all 4 categories of IELTS, successful ANMAC skills assessment and finally the visa application itself. We were impressed with Gordon’s knowledge and ability to put our minds at ease.
Our case was then passed to Hansen whom we worked with the longest. He was in-charge of assisting us with the documents for the ANMAC skills assessment. My ANMAC skills assessment was lodged in June after we secured all the necessary documents and it was approved in early October. It was evident that he kept himself up to date with the latest changes of the immigration rules throughout the 6 months that we worked with him. Thank you so much for all your prompt email replies and allaying our anxieties.
Next, we worked with Felicia who submitted our EOI via DIAC and we were invited to apply for a visa 2 weeks later.
Lastly, we were under Brandon’s assistance in the actual PR application. Our application was lodged in mid-November. After an immigration case manager had been assigned to us, we were required to undergo a medical check and police clearance. Brandon suggested 2 clinics which were located in the same building for our convenience. Upon receiving our COC on the 30th December, I forwarded them to Kathleen who was covering for Brandon. I was pleasantly surprised when she got back to me within the hour, informing me that she had already submitted our COC to the Australian Immigration.
Our PR application was approved on the very next day, 31st December. It was the best gift to end off 2013. I made arrangements to meet with Pearce who handed me the visa grant letter. He spent time going through any enquiries I had and he was kind enough to share personal experiences with me.
It took only 9 months from the time we engaged AIMS’s services to the time our Australian PR was approved. The team we’ve worked with is knowledgeable, efficient and approachable.
I recommend AIMS to anyone who wants a fast and fuss-free PR application. Thank you once again! Yours sincerely, Wee Tuck & Jo
(2) How did you find out about AIMS? What made you decide to sign-up with AIMS?
Australian immigration is a time consuming process and prolongs with painstaking follow-ups required. So it is better to seek professional guidance and advice. I found out about AIMS through the internet search. When I spoke to AMIS immigration specialist, I was pretty convinced with their expertise, knowledge and professional capabilities.
(3) Were you satisfied with the service AIMS provided during the application process? If yes, why so?
I am extremely pleased with AIMS services throughout the immigration process. It saved my precious time and energy. I witnessed that at AIMS they value their client & assist them with the best of their capabilities. During my experience, they extended highly professional and humble attitude, honest in giving suggestions and prompt feedback through emails, fast in dealing with enquiries.
(4) Would you recommend AIMS to your relatives and friends?
From the day I engaged AIMS as my immigration consultant, I always felt in safe hands and AIMS expertise in the area of Australian Immigration was indeed very helpful. I was impressed at how smoothly and professionally the whole process was handled and the visa was granted in a reasonable time frame. I am also delighted to receive continuous assistance (whenever required) even after my visa grant. I would definitely recommend AIMS service to my friends & relatives if they are interested in immigration assistance.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Elsie (my immigration consultant in-charge) and Felicia & Brandon (documentation specialists) for their friendly and professional services.
During the whole migration process, we have received very good service from AIMS staffs and consultants. With the checklists and guidelines, it has been an easy and defined process that we could experience. The consultant also provided honest assessment and creative enough to offer other suggestion whenever it is needed to meet our migration purpose. They have been prompt in responding to our emails, phones, and queries, as well as humble in their supports, where they do not mind to have appointment after hours to meet the busy time of their customers.
With AIMS help, we are able to achieve our migration objectives. Within only three and a half month process, I finally received my Australian (Spouse) Visa and able to migrate to Australia with husband. We both now reside and work in Melbourne, Victoria, one of Australia’s most favorite destinations. The lifestyle here is different from hectic Singapore city; it’s quieter, more scenery to enjoy and far more relaxing as compare to Singapore. I can say it will be more time for your family. Working hours in Australia are less than the ones in Singapore. However, most of the jobs require multi-tasking skills which for new immigrants it may need some time to adapt.
Should anyone of you need a migration service, I would definitely recommend AIMS service to you. Their professional attitude, good customer service, well experienced consultant, and competitive price are some of the points that you would experience shall you decide to engage them to achieve your migration objectives.
Our special thanks to Elsie and Girlie who have provided such a great service to us during the whole process. We wish you and AIMS all the success!
Around 1.5 years back, I made my decision for getting OZ PR (off-course for better life, securities & living standards) and accordingly I started my initial search for the consultant. I met many consultants and finally made my decision to go with AIMS.
It took a total of 8+months in getting my PR and I must say all credit goes to AIMS teams. They are very professional but the same time very friendly & approachable too. They always have eagle eye on the Aussie immigrations rules & regulations and will recommend the things which are best for you. Aussie immigration process seems easy but trust me documentation part and change in regulations make this really tough and that’s where AIMS really helps you out with giving all references and checklists so that your application is right on the aim.
I am really happy with the service/ support and have already recommended my few friends to them, which are already in process of their PR applications with AIMS and will recommend in near future too….
Best wishes to AIMS team, Gaurav Seth
